Released in 2000 and narrated by actor Rupert Everett, Paragraph 175 revealed the extent and consequences of the Nazi’s persecution of homosexuals, filling a crucial gap in the historical record of the Third Reich. A new restoration of this landmark documentary, screening at the Wex on Sunday, February 3, from the directors of Common Threads: Stories from the Quilt (screening here on February 28) offers another vital chance to hear the moving testimonies of the survivors interviewed for the film.
