This series featuring rarely screened films and other footage shot by Andy Warhol offers fresh perspective on his double-screen masterpiece The Chelsea Girls (1966) and its epic vision of New York’s underground scene. All films are presented in new digital transfers.

The Chelsea Girls” Exploded was originally organized by Geralyn Huxley, Curator of Film and Video, and Greg Pierce, Associate Curator of Film and Video, at The Andy Warhol Museum, Pittsburgh, and Rajendra Roy, Chief Curator of Film at The Museum of Modern Art, New York.
