WexLab: Songwriting Workshop with Sharon Udoh of Counterfeit Madison

Virtual

Aspiring pop stars ages 13–17, don’t miss this free workshop with musician, vocalist, and songwriter Sharon Udoh of Counterfeit Madison. A Wexner Center Artist Residency Award recipient, Udoh describes her music as “melodic, raucous, ridiculous, soulful, gentle, theatrical rock and roll, with a bit of classical and gospel.”

Bring something you are working on or want to write about! We encourage you to think about your influences or what you want to sound like. Have your instrument of choice with you in your Zoom room if it helps you to create. This rare opportunity in a small group with Sharon will only be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so don't wait to register!

To register, please contact education@wexarts.org or use the registration link on the left.

If you have questions about the session, we invite you to reach out to Jean Pitman, our Community, Youth, and Family Programs Manager at jpitman@wexarts.org.

Please note: this event was rescheduled from an earlier date.
