Chief Operating Officer

Megan Cavanaugh has been at the Wexner Center for the Arts since 2003, and is currently the Chief Operating Officer. She has held several previous positions at the Wex, including Director of Exhibitions Management, Director of Patron Services and Head Registrar, and has been in her current role since 2015. After graduating from Washington University in St. Louis, Megan went on to earn a Master of Architecture and a Master of Business Administration from The Ohio State University. She spent her last year of graduate school working at the Wex, and then came on full time after graduation. Megan now handles all of the administrative aspects of the exhibitions program, including budgets, contracts, and logistics, and oversees the registration and installation departments. She also occasionally acts as a curator on architecture- and design-related exhibitions, including Sarah Oppenheimer: S-337473 and Architecture Interruptus, and most recently All of Everything: Todd Oldham Fashion. Megan works closely with the curators, director, and entire exhibitions team to create a compelling exhibition program for our patrons to experience in our remarkable gallery space.
